NHL and NHLPA
In October 2008, Visa strengthened its commitment to sport in Canada by partnering with the National Hockey League (NHL) and the NHL Players’ Association. The partnerships allow Visa to create cardholder opportunities and complement the services of its financial institution clients.
Since 2004, Visa has been a main sponsor of Copa Bridgestone Libertadores, an international soccer tournament that includes participation of 38 teams from ten South American countries and Mexico. The sponsorship is another example of Visa’s commitment to the world’s most loved sport.
Toronto International Film Festival
A committed supporter of the arts, culture and tourism, Visa has sponsored the Toronto International Film Festival since 1996. As part of Visa’s sponsorship, Visa cardholders are entitled to advance tickets and exclusive ticket packages.
Dubai Shopping Festival
Visa is a key sponsor of the Dubai Shopping Festival, Dubai's premier shopping event. Ahead of the 2012 FIFA World Cup™,Visa brought the Winner’s Trophy to the Dubai Mall and provided Visa cardholders with the opportunity to have their pictures taken with the world’s most recognized sports trophy.
