Current Position and Responsibilities
Elizabeth Buse is Global Executive, Solutions where she is responsible for implementing, managing and growing Visa’s wide range of assets and solutions, such as mobile, digital wallet (V.me), merchant sales and solutions, processing, information products and Cybersource.
Previous Positions
Previously, Ms. Buse was the Group President for Asia Pacific, Central Europe, Middle East and Africa (APCEMEA), with responsibility for Visa's global sales and client service functions across Visa's fastest growing geographies.
Prior to that, Ms. Buse was the global Head of Product for Visa Inc., leading all aspects of product strategy, development and growth.
Before joining Visa USA in 1998, she served as Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the electronic funds division of First Data Corporation (FDC). Before FDC, Ms. Buse was a Senior Engagement Manager at Windermere Associates – a management consulting firm focused on developing strategies for corporations facing intensely competitive industries.
Other Information
Ms. Buse holds an MBA from the Haas School at the University of California, Berkeley. She was a graduate fellow in Spanish Linguistics at the Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Spain, and holds a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics from the University of California, Los Angeles. She and her family have recently relocated to the Bay Area following three years in Singapore.
