Eduardo Eraña
LAC Regional President
Eduardo Eraña has been president of the Latin America and Caribbean region since February 2002.
Eraña joined Visa in 1984 as executive vice president and became president of Visa Mexico in 1997.
Eraña's professional career in the banking industry spans more than two decades. For 17 years he held various positions at the Mexican bank Bancomer, including senior vice president in charge of the Corporate Division and executive vice president and director of Credit Card Operations.
During his four years as director of credit card operations at Bancomer, Eraña served as a member of the board of directors for Visa Latin America and Caribbean and represented the Latin America region on the Visa International board of directors.
Eraña has a B.S. in Accounting from the Universidad Autónoma de Mexico.
