Una Somerville

Global Head of Customer Service


Una Somerville is the global head of customer service and implementation for Visa Inc. In this role, she leads client service, customer implementation services, franchise management and Visa Customer Care Services.

Somerville oversees global support, with a local market focus, to Visa Inc. stakeholders around the world, including financial institutions, merchants, processors and cardholders. This includes managing Visa's contact center operations, which offer a variety of global and domestic services for Visa cardholders. The group also provides a variety of implementation and project management support functions, including the semiannual VisaNet business release, rollout of new products/services and deployment of VisaNet and Visa Debit Processing services. In addition, she is also accountable for global operating regulations.

Somerville was previously executive vice president of customer service and implementation for Visa U.S.A., and also held executive management roles with Inovant. During her more than 25-year career with Visa, Somerville also held a variety of management positions within Visa International, including global product management and international policies.
