Work/Life Balance
Health and Wellness
Visa believes that focusing on prevention and education leads to optimal health and fosters a productive workforce. Visa Cares Health and Wellness programs provide tools and resources to help you achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle and work/life balance. Our programs are adapted to align with the cultural practices and norms of the countries in which we operate.
Local Programs
Programs in our Foster City office include sports teams and clubs, free group exercise classes, biometric screenings, and the “Visa Cares” Lunchtime seminar series, which addresses topics such as exercise, nutrition, stress reduction, and green living. Some office locations also offer discounted tickets to local recreation and entertainment venues, including movie theaters, sports arenas and amusement parks.
Employee Assistance Program
At Visa, we know there are times when you need additional support to assist you with both professional and personal needs and challenges. The Employee Assistance program offers assessment, short-term counseling, discounted legal and financial management assistance, and other services to help you and your family members manage through life’s ups and downs.
Global Security and Safety
Protecting Visa staff and safeguarding company facilities all over the world are the principal priorities of Global Security and Safety (GSS). Global Security's multi-faceted approach is designed to work collaboratively with you and your business unit to accurately assess and manage risk in a dynamic environment. GSS exemplifies the "gold standard" for global security, emergency response and safety management and is here for you no matter where you live, work, or travel.
Because Green Matters
Visa rewards environmentally friendly commuting practices that reduce greenhouse gasses. If you use alternative transportation — public transit, bike, van pool, etc. — you are eligible for Visa’s commuter benefits. We’ve even been recognized as one of the Bay Area's Best Workplaces for Commuters by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT).
