Visa Inc. (NYSE: V) announces financial results for the Company's fiscal first quarter 2012 ended December 31, 2011. Net income for the quarter was $1.0 billion, or $1.49 per share of diluted class A common stock, an increase of 21% over the prior year. The weighted-average number of diluted class A common stock outstanding was 690 million.
