Visa Inc. Responds to Chilean Earthquake and Tsunami
Visa is committed to being a responsible corporate citizen, including helping those in need in times of disaster. To help the people of Chile recover from the recent devastating earthquake and resulting tsunami, Visa has made a donation of $100,000 to the American Red Cross Chile Relief and Development Fund to support emergency shelter, medical care, water and sanitation services. In addition, Visa is providing a 200% match of our employee donations through March 31 to select international humanitarian organizations to support relief efforts in Chile.
