Financial Literacy
Visa believes the most important financial tool is not a product – it is knowledge. That is why for over a decade Visa has been developing financial literacy programs that teach individuals how to spend, save and budget responsibly. Supporting financial literacy is good for our business and the right thing to do.
Visa pledged to reach 20 million people globally with financial literacy resources by May 2013 at the Clinton Global Initiative in 2009. That commitment was met in May 2012, a year ahead of schedule. Over 26 million have been reached as of January 2013.To learn more about Visa’s commitment to financial literacy, explore our media kit.
