NASA Federal Credit Union is committed to delivering secure, seamless digital payment experiences for its members. Recognizing the rapid growth in cross-border transactions, NASA FCU engaged Visa Managed Services for DPS Risk Advisor, a service that provides fraud consulting and analytics expertise. Together in early 2025, NASA FCU and Visa DPS Risk Advisor evaluated and strengthened NASA FCU’s 3DS fraud prevention tools.
As part of this initiative, the Visa risk experts conducted a comprehensive review of confirmed 3DS fraud cases from the previous two to three years to identify patterns and assess whether certain regions were more susceptible to fraud. The analysis revealed that specific geographies consistently put cardholders at higher risk.
