Visa and Barclays opened a new Learning and Development Zone at Barclays Northampton Campus on 11 July 2024. The 15,000 square foot space, which features a Visa Tech Zone, will support Barclays changing approach to learning and development – supporting in-person collaboration, communication and personal growth. The centre was inaugurated by Team Visa athlete and a ‘golden girl’ of British Athletics, Dame Denise Lewis DBE. Denise shared her perspective on continued personal growth and performance mindset and was joined by colleagues from Barclaycard and Visa to celebrate the opening.
Barclays’ employees will have access to Visa University content and development tools as part of a proactive learning and engagement programme. Visa Marketing Services in collaboration with the Colleague Development team at Barclays designed and developed the centre to make sure this first-of-its-kind partnership delivers a cutting-edge learning experience.
