Visa and Street Soccer USA join forces to uplift local communities through soccer

Visa becomes the Official Payment Services Partner of Street Soccer USA

San Francisco, CA and New York, NY — Visa, a global leader in digital payments, today announced a 10-year partnership with Street Soccer USA (SSUSA), a national, community-first nonprofit organization dedicated to social change through soccer.

As its Official Payment Services Partner, Visa aims to strengthen SSUSA’s nationwide network of community-based soccer programs, which currently serves more than 75,000 players annually across 16 cities nationally. SSUSA has ambitious goals of expanding its presence and programming across North America, helping more individuals build confidence, develop teamwork skills, and create positive social connections.

“This partnership is about more than sport or sponsorship—it’s about a movement,” said Lawrence Cann, Co-Founder and President of Street Soccer USA. “Together with Visa, we’re better equipped to invest in people, in neighborhoods, and in the belief that community is the foundation for potential. Street Soccer Parks are more than soccer fields—they’re platforms for connection and opportunity.”

Visa will participate in SSUSA’s marquee events and activations, including after-school league events, Street Soccer Girls with Goals initiatives and the Street Soccer USA Cup Series. Visa will also integrate its financial education tools into select SSUSA curriculum and educational programs, helping players build essential life and money-management skills.
