At this year’s Visa Payments Forum in Dallas, thousands of clients and partners from across the Americas — from Canada to Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) — will gather to talk about the future of payments. And thanks to Nightowl Coffee, they’ll do it over expertly crafted lattes and espressos.
For Corbin Bahcall, Nightowl’s founder, this moment brings his success full circle. “People from all over the world love coffee. No matter their background or their preferences, they come to us — and we help create that moment of connection.”
Corbin launched Nightowl Coffee in 2017 at his brother’s wedding, serving espresso martinis and lattes to guests. Today, his Texas-based business serves more than 750 events a year, from weddings and retail events to corporate experiences like Visa Payments Forum.
And as Nightowl has evolved, so has the way customers want to pay. “We’re really seeing a trend where customers want to pay digitally for their coffee,” says Bahcall. “They want a digital, seamless experience.”
That’s where Visa comes in.
Visa is committed to helping businesses like Nightowl accept digital payments and grow. From tap-to-pay capabilities that simplify in-person purchases to Authorize.net tools for online sales, Visa’s suite of products and services helps small businesses meet customers where they are.
“I'm most excited that Visa is championing small businesses like ours,” says Bahcall. As attendees fuel up at one of seven Nightowl espresso bars at VPF this week, they’re not just getting great coffee — they’re seeing a small business success story in action.
And if you’re wondering, Bahcall’s favorite drink? “Something really fancy and pretentious — but for the sake of this answer, I’ll go with an iced vanilla latte.”
